ACE Benchmarking is the industry’s annual peer to peer survey and report, providing participating businesses with an in-depth analysis of the operations, revenue per fee earner, costs, staff turnover, marketing activity and competitiveness as well as many other performance benchmarks.
The ACE Benchmarking Programme has been designed for companies with a headcount of more than 250 and is designed to provide a comprehensive set on metrics to analyse all aspects of a company’s performance. Currently, it provides over 550 metrics covering a wide variety of business operations.
(If your company has a headcount of 250 or fewer and you would like to participate, ACE has developed the SME Benchmarking Programme.)
ACE Benchmarking covers both UK and European large organisations to enhance the comparative indicators available to companies. International comparisons are important given increasing international competition and collaboration.
ACE Benchmarking is a key tool for facilitating industry debate and key highlights of this annual programme will be presented at the annual European CEO Conference in November 2017 to pool the knowledge of key influential people in the infrastructure industry. The Benchmarking Overview Report is made available to all attendees to this event each year.

The Benchmarking Main Contact
This would be the person responsible for filling and submitting the benchmarking survey and would be the CFO, Financial Director or a nominated colleague by the CEO Conference delegate.
What you will receive
Participates will receive two reports which enable them to easily utilise the output to improve their performance.
- An industry Overview Report comparing the averages and upper and lower quartiles of a company’s data to draw conclusions on industry trends.
- Each large firm which participates in the Benchmarking programme will receive an Individual Report, which is one of the unique selling points of ACE’s programme. This Individual Report compares your data to that of your peers and competitors. This will contain an individually written analysis, prepared by CIFC, unique to your company providing an independent review of your performance. On this report companies’ data is compared on an anonymous basis, maintaining the confidentiality of other participants’ data.
