Kevin Rudden, President, European Federation of Consulting Engineering Associations (EFCA)
Kevin Rudden was elected President of the European Federation of Consulting Engineering Associations (EFCA) in June 2017 for a three year term. EFCA represent FIDIC in Europe with 25 member associations employing 250,000 staff. He was elected Director of EFCA in 2014 and was President of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland in 2015/16.
EFCA’s mission is to positively influence the EU legislation that impacts on engineering consultancy and promote fair competition and transparent procurement rules across Europe. Engineering consultancies provide €150 billion engineering consulting services per year for about €1,300 billion investments in buildings, infrastructure and industrial complexes.
Kevin is CEO of GARLAND Consulting Engineers an Irish based International firm of Civil and Structural Engineers. He is Chairman of Pivotal International, a multi-disciplinary firm of design professionals based in the UK and Saudi Arabia. He is also a Director of Shannon International Development Consultants, a specialist Economic Development Consultancy specializing in the establishment, marketing and operation of special economic zones throughout the world.See all Speakers
